The town of St.Gallen is quite a cultural highlight with its abbey (a UNESCO world heritage site since 1983). There are a number of restaurants in the old, historical part of the town with superb local dishes. Lake Constance is only a 20-minute train journey away and has a fantastic hiking and biking area to tempt visitors. Here you can find information about bike paths in the city of St.Gallen.
A state-of-the-art gym with workout and body-building equipment is located in the basement of the HSG Alumni House. Next to it, a sauna with a quiet zone invites you to come and relax. Depending on your requirements, you can select several programmes in the sauna: from the Finnish sauna at 85° to the very humid aroma bath with soothing fragrances. The team at Reception would be delighted to accept your booking. The fitness room is included in the room price for guests at the HSG Alumni House. For seminar participants the admission fee for one day is CHF 20.00 (+CHF 20.00 deposit).
The HSG Shop is situated in the Main Building of the University of St.Gallen. You can find information about its opening hours at www.hsgshop.ch.
