Our seasonal lunch buffet offers a colorful variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. To avoid food waste, leftovers can be taken home by employees through “Too Good To Go.”
This way, we combine enjoyment, variety, and a responsible use of food resources.
At least 70% of our food and beverage purchases come directly from the region – ensuring freshness, quality, and support for local producers.
You can now make your arrival or onward journey even easier: Right in front of the executive campus HSG, a dedicated parking area for RideDott e-scooters and e-bikes is now available.

In our hotel rooms as well as in public areas, we use water and shower taps with special filters that regulate water consumption. This helps us conserve valuable resources – without compromising comfort.
In our seminar area, we rely on water dispensers to avoid waste. In the past, thousands of liters of half-full bottles had to be thrown away each evening. Today, guests and staff can enjoy fresh tap water easily, without any extra effort or logistics.
A simple step towards sustainability, comfort, and resource awareness.
Our hotel guests can actively decide whether they would like daily room cleaning or prefer to skip the “stayover cleaning.” Many consider daily cleaning unnecessary and no longer up to date.
With a simple door hanger, you choose how much cleaning you want. Together, we save water, reduce chemicals, and conserve energy – valuable contributions to our planet. At the same time, we support the myclimate project "Fertile soil as a natural CO₂ sink in the Lake Constance region".
We use biodegradable cleaning products throughout our facilities – protecting the environment and water resources without compromising on cleanliness or hygiene.
The maintenance of the outdoor areas at WBZ is carried out by the Valida Garden team – a social enterprise in St. Gallen that supports people with special needs in work, training, housing, and leisure.
Under the guidance of professional landscape gardeners, the team mows lawns, trims plants, cares for trees, and much more. Regular maintenance is provided on a subscription basis.
